Manage classes
In OCAD, you can create a list of classes and then link a path to each class. It's good at big events.
For XML export, the file will also include the ClassCourseAssignment-tag: <ClassCourseAssignment>
<ClassName> D60 </ ClassName>
<CourseName> Course 3 </ CourseName>
</ ClassCourseAssignment>
This is a very useful feature that would be good to include in the Purple Pen.

This is fixed in 3.1.5

Hello, my name is Davide, I am from Italy.
We are promoting the use of purplepen and we are trying to adopt this tool as the standard course setting software for all the competitions we are organizing.
We suffer the current limitation because of the lack of distinction among courses an classes.
We usually workaround this by duplicating the courses (one copy for each class using that specific course), but this is very errorprone and cumbersome when you need to modify some course/path right before going to print stage. Moreover in "relay" competitions we suffer an other important limitation: we need to assign Team Bib Numbers and to print the maps accordingly.
The main limitation here is the fact that PurplePen is forcing the Bib Numbers to start from 1.
Usually we have an "unique" Bib number for the entire race, so we will have one team in a specific class using BibNumber=1 only. all the other Team BibNumbers (and matching maps) needs to have different BibNumbers.
So we need to assign a different Bib start number foreach Class.
And again, we usually have more than one class using the same course (or better coursefamily, this are relays competitions!).
