I would like to be able to enter the distance (and climb!) of the optimal route on each leg. Also, if I set distance or climb on a leg, then move the control at either end, I would like to be prompted to update the distance and climb.

I might use this feature, if it existed. I just found a tree exploded by lightning, and I wanted to set a control there and call out the lightning strike in the text of the control description.

I had a little problem related to this. In my club the control flag, code card and pin punch are all tied together as one unit. I assigned control code XX to a control on a course, then entered the punch pattern for XX. Then I realized the flag tied to XX was broken so I replaced XX with BB. To my surprise, BB "inherited" the punch pattern assigned to XX. Fortunately I noticed in time to fix the error.

A workaround for the Mac is to run VirtualBox or a similar emulator, then Win XP or other Microsoft OS inside the emulator. I do that now. Downside is you still need a license for the Microsoft OS; I recycled a license from a PC that is running Linux. Then you also need to know how to set up the Microsoft OS so that it can play nicely with the host system. OCAD Viewer works fine, once a printer driver is installed on the virtual computer as well as on the host computer. I am trying out Purple Pen now.
