automatically add gaps for crossing legs
If two legs on a course cross, automatically add a gap into one of the legs where they cross.

Gaps are now automatically placed into legs when they cross.

Regarding the other comment, I haven't discovered the way to do it automatically. British Orienteering suggest that it is "convention" to put a gap into the later leg. However, if the later leg is very short and the earlier one is longer it may be clearer to cut the earlier leg.
